You will spend 6 days on the famous Dumoine River, which in spring offers excellent paddling and training opportunities. We'll only paddle a short section of the river so that we can spend additional time at all the good instructional rapids practicing the various maneuvers. Depending on group numbers, specific logistics and water levels we will spend the 4 days either on the section of river between the Lac Benoit Bailey Bridge and Sheerway or alternatively we will work on the lower river below Grande Chute, particularly Red Pine and Examination Rapids. (This decision will be made closer to the actual course date.) We'll meet near Deep River early in the morning of June 19 at approx 8 am. (if you're coming from any distance you should come and camp at Driftwood Park the night before). (Our staff and a number of the participants will in fact meet the evening before.) We'll then drive into the Dumoine hoping to be at the put in by lunch time. The next 6 days will be spent on the River.
